Only one dream
I have loved animals since I was a child. After school, I was going to study to be a veterinarian, but it didn’t work out. I found my favorite job only years later, thanks to… my dog Unica, a miniature schnauzer. Taking care of her appearance and health firmly entered my life. Nutrition, haircut, hygiene… Studying all these questions, I accumulated so much knowledge that one day I realized I could do this professionally. I passed training, internship and began to work as a grooming master. After moving to Prague, I gained invaluable experience working in two salons in this amazing city. And finally I fulfilled my dream: I opened my own salon!

Important information
The complete package is a haircut / handstripping / brushing + nail clipping + ears cleaning + anal gland cleaning (on customer request).
Prices are approximate, it all depends on the type and condition of the animal’s hair.
We do not work with animals having skin problems or infectious diseases, as well as parasites. If problems are detected, the procedure immediately stops. The owner pays for the actual worked time. Only after consulting with your veterinary specialist and appropriate animal treatment we can provide further care of the animal’s hair. We also reserve the right to charge an additional fee necessary to cover the cost of additional disinfection of the room and tools, due to the above problems.
Please warn us about the aggressive behavior of your animal and provide it with a muzzle. Non-warning about aggressive behavior of the animal +100% surcharge to the price.
Do not forget to walk your pet before the procedure so that it feels good.
If your pet is very stressed from the grooming procedure, nervous, it is better to make an appointment in the morning and not to feed it. Drink can be given.
Animals in heat are not subject to grooming. Please call and reschedule the reservation as soon as this fact is revealed. Otherwise, if the fact of estrus is detected during the visit, the possibility of carrying out the grooming procedure is left to the groomer’s discretion, since another animal can be served in the salon at this time.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may incur additional charges.
How long does dog grooming usually take?
This is usually depends on the breed, but if the hair needs to be cut, it generally takes about 2,5 hours so that we can wash/dry and cut the hair. If the coat is matted, it can certainly take more time.
Can you groom my dog to breed standard?
Yes, we are familiar with most breed standards and we have a lot of experience working with the most popular breeds. At the same time, some clients for various reasons prefer more practical haircuts for their pets, so this is always discussed before grooming. Each dog is different and each person’s needs vary so consultation can help you to make the right decision. The consultation is free of charge.
Can I stay with my dog and watch?
If your dog can see you whilst being groomed it usually means they will try and be with you and this can result in dangerous working conditions. The groomer is working with sharp tools and it is necessary to avoid additional stress, excitement and danger. Therefore, we insist that you do not stay with your dog in salon during grooming. Exceptions are discussed separately.
My dog’s hair is matted, do I need to cut the hair short?
Allowing your dog’s coat to tangles can be very harmful to your dog’s skin. That is why it is necessary to thoroughly comb all the mats before washing the dog. If the hair is matted it may be possible to de-matt and preserve the dog’s coat. An additional fee is charged for combing the mats (not included in the price of the complex). And — yes, if the hair is so badly matted we can recommend giving your dog a short haircut.
Do you bathe the dog first?
In order to get an even cut the hair needs to be clean so we always bathe the dog as part of grooming.
How is my dog dried?
Generally, firstly we use towels and then a special powerful dryer that blows off the majority of the water, then we use drying with the reduced velocity. With smaller or more nervous dogs and puppies we do not use the high powerful drying and use a reduced velocity dryer.
